    Project 1: Audio Dub & Sound Effects
    EXERCISE 1: Audio Dubbing

    Task Overview：
    Place audio files on timeline and sync it with video.
    Audio track: 
    • 3 tracks for dialogue, one character, one track. 
    • 4 tracks for sound effects, 
    • 3 tracks for ambience sound.
    • Edit voice from female to male, male to female, human to cute animal/adult to kid: Premiere Pro → Audio Effects → Pitch Shifter → Semi tones. 
    • Volume: Dialogue: between -6dB & -12dB, Ambience: below -20dB, Hard sound effects: Depend.

    3. Reflection：

    Through this project, I gained a deeper appreciation for how intricate and time-consuming the process of sound design truly is. It demands not only technical proficiency in audio editing but also a refined sensitivity to rhythm, tone, and emotional nuance. Recording and transforming my own voice to represent multiple characters was both a challenge and an enjoyable creative experiment. This experience allowed me to understand how dialogue, sound effects, and ambience work together to enhance narrative meaning and emotional impact in film. It also strengthened my awareness of how carefully constructed sound design can bring depth and realism to storytelling.

We began by exploring two key types of digital images: Raster Images Made up of individual pixels, these images lose clarity when enlarged. Common file types include JPG and PNG . Vector Images Constructed from mathematical paths, these can be scaled infinitely without quality loss. Typical formats are AI and SVG .
